Unicorn Coffee (Best Bullet Proof Coffee)

After dealing with some heavy amounts of fatigue and depression for two weeks, I reached out to a friend and tried out a supplement with the nickname "Unicorn Moonshine".

Why Unicorn Moonshine? For starters, it makes you feel magical AF, and secondly, it is the first therapeutic ketone supplement on the market. This supplement is backed by research at the University of South Florida.  Unicorn Moonshine aka Keto//OS allows you to feel the benefits of elevated ketone levels in the blood without being on a strict ketogenic diet. Ketones are a superior source of fuel for your tissues, especially your brain over glucose, but due to being told that fat is bad for us, we have never really experienced the power of this amazing fuel source until now.

I've benefited from this supplement in more ways than I expected. My fatigue is gone, my energy levels are improved, my endurance has increased, I no longer crave sugar (I am a sugar addict), and I've even burned fat so my muscles are more visible. I'm also experiencing a similar effect to adderall in mental focus, but without a crash. My sleep cycle are regulated. I normally have to take a sedative, but I now get sleepy at 9:30 pm and wake up about 5:30 am well rested and ready to go for the day. Also, my skin is glowing!!!

One of my favorite ways to use the chocolate swirl Keto//OS is by adding it to bullet proof coffee. Thus creating Unicorn Coffee.

How to make Unicorn Coffee:
  •  10 oz of brewed coffee (I personally like Highlander Grogg
  •  1 packet of charged chocolate swirl Keto//OS *can purchase here OR can sample it with other flavors Here. (Charged has the caffeine equivalent to a cup of coffee, so it will double the normal amount of caffeine in this bullet proof coffee.  If you're sensitive to caffeine, get the caffeine free).
  • 1 Tbsp of real butter
  • (optional) 1 Tbsp of MCT oil ( I like this one) or add Keto Kreme
  • (optional) 1/4 tsp of honey or 1 packet of stevia
Add all ingredients to blender and blend until frothy (about 5 seconds)

pour into your favorite coffee cup, add whip cream, and enjoy!

Keep living that magic life!

Healthy Doughnut Holes

Grain free, paleo, and vegan friendly I struggled to come up with a name for these bites of magic. They taste like a healthy sugar cookie dough and/or healthy doughnut holes.  They are filled with good fats and natural sugars, and fit within a grain free, vegan, and/or paleo lifestyle. They also make a good pre and post workout snack.  Ingredients: 1 Cup coconut shreds 1/2 Cup melted coconut butter  1/4 Cup melted coconut oil 2 Tbsp cashew butter 1 Cup walnuts  1/2 Cup almond flour 6 pitted medjool dates  1 tsp cinnamon  1 tsp cardamom  1 tsp maca  Add all ingredients to a food processor (I use a Cuisinart bought at Goodwill. It works like a charm). Blend for a few minutes until all ingredients are fully mixed. It will eventually turn into a large ball like structure. Once it’s finished, scoop out a tablespoon size amount and roll into a ball and place on a baking sheet, then place the balls in the freezer  ...

Body image

I am turning 30 this year and with a glamorous age, comes wisdom and self acceptance. As you can tell by my age, I was a kid of the 90's and a teen of the early 2000's. Social media and smart phones were non-existent. This meant that I didn't have flawless Instagram models at my fingertips daily. I grew up with Lizzie Macguire and Tapanga Lawrence on TV. I didn't even have the best internet access either. Dial-up was slow and I only had the internet at school, and most of my free time was spent playing outside in some imaginary world.   Anyway, body image wasn't an issue for me as a kid. I was also a very awkward scrawny child with sticks for legs and arms and buck teeth, until puberty happened. I gained a huge ass, my boobs grew over night, and my hips and thighs popped out of thin air, hence, my many many stretch marks and cellulite on theses portions of my anatomy. I remember the first time I noticed stretch marks on my thighs at the age of 13, and I was so c...
